Well-woman exams
A yearly visit that looks at the whole picture: screening due dates, bleeding, mood, sexual health, contraception and preventive care.
Pap & HPV screening
Cervical cancer screening at guideline-appropriate intervals, with clear follow-up if a result is abnormal.
STI testing & treatment
Confidential testing, straightforward treatment and prevention counseling without a lecture.
Periods & pelvic concerns
Heavy, painful, irregular or missing periods, pelvic pain, discharge and painful sex evaluated properly instead of dismissed.
Contraception
Every method discussed, including IUDs and Nexplanon placed in the office.
Hormones & menopause
Perimenopause and menopause symptoms evaluated, with hormone therapy when appropriate.
What to expect
A visit that is not rushed
Visits start with conversation. We review your history, your medications, your cycle and what you want out of the appointment. An exam happens when it is clinically indicated and after you understand why, and you can always ask to stop.
If labs or imaging are recommended, we explain what they are looking for and roughly what they cost outside the visit fee. Results come back with an explanation and a plan, and follow-up can often happen by telehealth anywhere in Florida.
Care here is grounded in current professional guidance, and we will tell you honestly when the evidence is uncertain or when a referral is the better path.
Common questions
Questions patients ask us
Do I need to be pregnant to be seen?
No. Most patients here are not pregnant. Well-woman visits, contraception, period problems, STI testing, hormones and menopause care make up the majority of the practice.
How often do I need a Pap smear?
Screening intervals depend on your age, your history and your previous results, and current guidance often means every three to five years rather than annually. We will explain what applies to you and what a result does and does not mean.
Is an annual exam the same as a Pap?
No. An annual well-woman visit covers your overall health, contraception, screening recommendations, mood, bleeding patterns and anything else on your list. A Pap is one specific test that may or may not be due that year.
Can I be seen for a specific problem instead of an annual?
Yes. Problem visits for abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, discharge, painful sex, urinary symptoms or an abnormal result are welcome, and often need more time than an annual.
Can some of this happen over telehealth?
Often, yes, for eligible patients anywhere in Florida: contraception counseling, medication management, lab review and follow-up. Anything needing an exam or in-office procedure is scheduled in person.
What does a visit cost?
All current fees are published on the Services & Pricing page with no form or phone call required to see them. Care is self-pay today, and the practice is currently out-of-network with Florida Blue / Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, with in-network participation anticipated soon.
