Women's health & gynecology · Lakeland, FL

Women's healthcare that doesn't start and stop with pregnancy

Most of the women I care for aren't pregnant and don't plan to be. Whether you're 15 or 67, you deserve a clinician who takes your symptoms seriously, explains the evidence, and has time to talk it through.

What we care for

The everyday, the complicated, and the things nobody warned you about

Well-woman & routine gynecology

Your annual visit, unhurried: history, exam when indicated, screening recommendations that match current guidance, and time for the questions you've been saving up.

Pap & cervical cancer screening

Cervical screening and HPV testing at appropriate intervals, plus clear explanation of what a result means-  and what it doesn't.

STI testing & treatment

Confidential testing, straightforward treatment, and partner and prevention counseling without a lecture.

Periods & menstrual concerns

Heavy, painful, irregular or missing periods deserve a workup, not a shrug. We look for a cause and treat what we find.

Contraception, IUDs & Nexplanon

The full range of options- including IUD and Nexplanon placement and removal-  chosen around your goals, side-effect tolerance and plans.

Preconception & reproductive health

Planning ahead: labs, medication review, folic acid and nutrition, cycle tracking, and honest conversation about timing and fertility.

Perimenopause & menopause

Sleep, mood, hot flashes, brain fog, painful sex, changing cycles. Real evaluation, and hormone therapy when it's appropriate for you.

Hormonal concerns & wellness

Thyroid, PCOS-related symptoms, low libido, weight and metabolic health-  reviewed together and taking the time to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

Midwifery, applied to gynecology

The same care model, minus the birth

Nurse-midwives are trained in full-scope women's healthcare, not just childbirth. In practice, that means longer visits, more explanation, and a strong bias toward understanding your whole picture before reaching for a prescription pad- while still prescribing readily when it's the right answer.

Guidance follows ACOG and ACNM recommendations. Where the evidence is genuinely mixed, you'll hear that too - with the trade-offs laid out.

Some concerns need labs, imaging, a procedure or a specialist. When that's the case, we arrange it and stay involved.
